The St. John Clerk of Court
Eliana DeFrancesch

The St. John the Baptist Parish Clerk of Court’s office is announcing the launch of internet access to their Land Record system on October 31, 2019.  This will allow the public the ability to search mortgage and conveyance records (deeds) which date back to the 1800’s, as well as marriage licenses, using their computer at home without traveling to the courthouse for documents.  Subscription rates are available for daily, monthly, and annually by credit card.    This venture was something my office has been contemplating for a long time. The records had to be redacted and records prior to the year 2000 imaged before allowing internet access. Records online does not work with Google Chrome or Firefox. You need to use Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari.

The link for access is: records.stjohnclerkonline.org
